Minnesota Salute to the Fallen

The Military Salute Project honors Minnesotans, and those with close Minnesota ties, who died in the service of their country since the 1950s. Includes Korea, Vietnam, Persian Gulf, Iraq, Afghanistan, and several military incidents. Find their names and related information in alphabetical lists.

Camp Ripley Memorializations/Court of Honor

Individuals with distinguished records of military service have been memorialized at Camp Ripley since 1933. Learn more, and find the names of all so honored.

Medal of Honor Recipients from Minnesota

Sometimes referred to as the Congressional Medal of Honor because it is presented “in the name of the Congress of the United States,” it is the nation’s highest award for military valor.

Traveling Trunks

Bring history to life. You can borrow a "trunk" containing artifacts representing the Civil War, World War I, World War II, Korean War, and the Vietnam War. An opportunity for hands-on, object-based learning.
