Special Projects

At any given time, the museum is engaged in fundraising for special, one-time projects. Gifts for a special project can only be used to support that project. Current projects are:

  • Restored French 75mm cannon. This type of cannon was used by Minnesota's own 151st Field Artillery when it went into action during World War One. Very few of these cannons in their original configuration still exist, and this is an opportunity for the museum to obtain one of the very few cannons of this type that are still in existence!
    Total Need: $37,000
    Already Raised: About $12,000
