NarrativeAttended Navy OCS and commissioned as Ensign in March 1972. Final Promotion to Lt. in 1975. Additional School at Aviation Maintenance Duty Officer training in Millington, TN (1972). Arrived at VF-24 in San Diego summer of 1972. Made one cruise on the USS Hancock in 1973/1974. Ship made multiple patrols in Gulf of Tonkin and the ship was dispatched to the east coast of Africa in October 1973 as a precautionary measure. Returned to the United States in January 1974. Left the Navy in March 1975. |
