Narrative

Was drafted into the US Army in June 1969 and, subsequently, enlisted into the US Army for a 3-year term during Basic Training (June 1969 to August 1969) at Fort Knox, Kentucky; attended Secretary/Stenographer (71C30) School (August 1969 to December 1969) at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana; and received a permanent assignment to the Training Input Branch, The Pentagon (January 1970 to January 1972). Received the Army Commendation Medal just prior to Honorable Discharge on January 20, 1972.
