NarrativeGeorge A. Perry was inducted into the service of the US Army in July 25th, 1918. From there he was stationed at Camp Stuart and then Camp Wadsworth, South Carolina before being transferred to Virginia for a 14 day voyage overseas to France. He was involved in the Meuse-Argonne offensive and eventually was ordered back home in May, 1919. He mustered out in July 1919 and came back home to the Preston, Minnesota area. |
