NarrativeCurt had his Basic Training in San Diego, California and Storekeeper School there in 1961 & 1962. In 1962 he transferred to Great Lakes, Ill. There he did the ordering for the base clothing store for Sailors. Later, he was in charge of the Reclaim Clothing Department and Health & Comfort supplies for men in the Brig & women on restriction. His active tour of duty ended August 10, 1964 with an honorable discharge. | |
