NarrativeBror Olof Hjelm was an immigrant from Sweden arriving in the United States in October 1895 . He lived in Spring Vale Minnesota in Isanti County . He was drafted into the military and served in the Army Infantry . He was killed in action in WW1 . In November 1932 a VFW post in Dalbo Minnesota was established called the Hjelm - Eastlund Post Number 2735 . The Post is now in Isanti . The Hjelm - Eastlund name has been removed and is presently called The Rum River Post Number 2735 |
