NarrativeI entered the Army on the delayed entry program in high school and left for basic the summer of 1975-77. I enlisted in the North Dakota National Guard at home 1980-84 and 1990-91. I enlisted in the Army reserves from 1996-2000 and 2002-2012. Retired on a medical. I was a single parent most of the time and that was why there were breaks in my service. I have no regrets enlisting 5 times. I have been an American Legion member for 45 years and member of the DAV. I was deployed twice and stayed stateside. | |
