NarrativeCompleted Airplane Mechanic Course at Boiling Aircraft School in Amarillo, Texas. Most of dad's service he worked on B26 bombers. The one thing he talked about was that in order to insure the planes were not sabotaged, the mechanics that worked on it were required to go alone on the first flight. Maybe that is where he got his sense for detail and precise work. |
